Welcome to Happy Home Pest Prevention! I'm Abby Little, the founder, owner, and hands-on operator behind the services keeping your property safe, healthy, and pest-free.
With over 20 years of customer service experience and 15 years specialized in Integrated Pest Management (IPM), I launched Happy Home Pest Prevention to give Sacramento and Placer County residents a different kind of pest control—one rooted in safety, transparency, and personal care.

Happy Home Pest Prevention holds a unique place in our industry. To our knowledge, we are the first and only openly trans-woman-owned pest control company in California, and potentially the entire United States.
As a prominent LGBTQ+ business, my goal extends beyond just managing pests. I am deeply committed to creating safe spaces. Inviting a service technician into your home or business requires immense trust. I want every single member of our community—especially minority and LGBTQIA+ households—to feel completely safe, valued, and respected the moment I step through their front door.

Supporting Our Greater Sacramento Community
When I am not out in the fi eld protecting your homes, I am actively working to uplift our local economy. I joined the Sacramento Rainbow Chamber of Commerce during my very first month in business, and today, I proudly serve on the Chamber's Foundation Board of Directors. Giving back to regional Pride initiatives and supporting local community events is central to who I am.
Beyond the Professional Life
At the end of the day, my absolute biggest "why" is my family. When I am not managing seasonal pest migrations, you can fi nd me recharging in nature. I love spending quality time with my wife, our two children, and our two dogs. On the weekends, we love heading out to Northern California's local lakes to go boating, fishing, and enjoying the great outdoors together.
